1AMD Eyefinity Technology works with games that support non-standard aspect ratios, which is required for panning across multiple displays. To enable more than two displays, additional panels with native DisplayPort connectors, and/or DisplayPort compliant active adapters to convert your monitor's native input to your card's DisplayPort or Mini-DisplayPort connector(s), are required. SLS (Single Large Surface) functionality requires an identical display resolution on all configured displays.

By R. W. Taylor
The system is up and running fine and seems to be a good value. A couple of things to note, however:
If you don't want your space flooded by moderate to bright red light (depending on where you position the box in relation to your eyes), you'll need to consider a few items and possibilities. The LEDs that create the light are embedded in the clear plastic rear case fan and pour out of the window on the right side of the case. The light cannot be switched off, and the clear casing of the fan spreads it further. To eliminate this red light, there are two choices. 1) Replace the fan with a color of your choice (blue, green, white) or lack of color (my choice). A really good quality replacement fan (superior to the original) might cost you $15,a cheapie fan half that. It is a standard 12v 92mm x 92mm x 25mm fan with a 3 pin connector. 2) Your other option is to cover the window with an opaque material of your choice.
I am no longer a gamer, although I enjoy a quick system as I expect this one to be. If I was still such a game hound, and had any light like this at all, I would have preferred blue (like my lefty Razer DeathAdder mouse).
This still leaves the red light from the front of the case - but that light is much easier to deal with.
One more thing to add - the HDD in this particular unit is the Hitachi HDS723020BLA642 - the rotational speed of which is 7200RPM, not 5400. The interface of the drive is spec'd as SATA 3, but the drive will not keep up with its interface. No mechanical drive currently available - to my knowledge - can accomplish that. You'd need to use an SSD as a boot to get the performance this system can give you.
A bit more aggravating is the way an HP Support Assistant told me how the warranties are dated. If you buy a system from HP, according to "Swaraj", the warranty dates from your purchase for a year. If you buy elsewhere, this isn't the case. The system informed me that the warranty dates were from 7-23-12 to 8-16-13, even though I purchased on 10-11-12. I had to provide proof to HP support to get things as they should be.
Watch out for the gotcha.

By Joshua Pena
After reading many reviews and doing hours of research to see witch pc was best for me in 800$ price range, i decided to go with this HP H9 1130, I have to admit i am blown away by the results of this this PC, it is more then what i expected, At first i thought i would have to change the graphic card for a little more push to play on Ultra setting for games such as World of Warcraft or Call of Duty, but i was wrong, The graphic card is awesome, 1 GB of DDR5 not DDR3, i had all my setting as high as possible and was still getting 60 FPS, I never Lag, the lowest fps i have seen so far was around 35, When i play i normal setting i seen as high as 120 FPS. This PC offers 2 TB of hard drive space witch is way more then enough then what ill ever need, The 8 core processor make multitasking super fast, and quick updates and restarts, The Beats Audio is awesome when connected to surround sound, i could really tell a difference when Beats is enable and disabled(you have to option to turn it on and off) The 8GB of Ram is great but would recommend adding 2 more ram stick in the 2 extra slots to have 16GB, each ram stick has 4GB(not necessary just for more smoothness when having many things open)
When i purchased this PC it was 745$ if you ask me this was the best bang for your buck you could find, I also took advantage of the Amazon.com store credit card, It offered no interest financing for the first 12 month, (comes in handy for those who dont have the fund available right away) Before i ordered i tried to find a PC with similar spec in the same price range and couldn't find one that had better specs for same price or cheaper, I even tried building my own pc to match the same spec as this pc on Ibuypower and Cyberpowerpc website and could not find a better deal then this pc for a 800$, they always kept adding up to be in the 1000$ range without there 75$ shipping fee, sure there are better gaming PC out there better spec such has better processor and Graphic card, But you really don't need better because this PC runs Perfectly. If your budget is higher, then i would recommend building your PC at ibuypower.
ooo almost forgot (Dec 10 2012) Walmart has the same PC right now for 688, I went with amazon and payed a little more only because of the 12 months no interest financing amazon offered, Also I recommend you to Buy the extended warranty From Square-trade, Its cheap easy and fast, Great customer service. They cover pretty much everything but liquid spill, It should appear on the same page of this product under the recommended section.
Also if your new to buying gaming PC and your not sure what is a good graphic card or a good processor, I recommend you go to cpubenchmark.net It ranks every processor and graphic card, You can check what rank your current processor/ graphic card is and see what improvements you should aim for, It helped me rank This pc Spec, both processor and graphic card were ranked in the top 100 out of thousands :)
If you have any question please ask ill be glad to help. Thanks

By John C. Hudson
5) Good day. Today is January 20, 2013, more than 6 weeks since I got my HP 1130 back from HP Tech Support. So far, it's been working satisfactorily. It locked up once while online (reason unknown), but a quick reboot fixed that. I'm still apprehensive, so am really making an effort to back everything up frequently. I'll post again if any more problems are encountered.
4) Okay - I received the HP Phoenix Pavilion 1130 back from HP Tech Support yesterday, 12.04.2012, at about 4pm. Opened the box...not a single piece of paper inside to tell me what they have fixed or not. I'm too tired right now to hook it up, so am writing this update using the dinosaur CPU I borrowed. I'll post again as soon as I've got the Pavilion 1130 up and running. Knightsix
3) Well, here we go again (Nov 21, 2012). I received the CPU back from HP. They had no better success than I did in attempting to understand the total failure of this unit. They removed the harddrive and replaced it, then sent it back to me. I've had the unit about one week, and guess what? Yep, failed again. After using it the evening of Nov 19, I ran MS Security Essestials Scan, which came back clean, then loged off and put the CPU into 'sleep' mode. I came down the following morning to find it had locked/failed again. On manual restart, I can hear the harddrive spool up, but no clicks to indicate it's being read. No action, no bootup, no video...absoutely dead in the water again, despite 6 attempts to reboot. It refuses to recognize the system recovery disk, with no indication that it's even attempting to operate, much less default to system recovery. My personal computer system is composed of a top of the line NetGear Dual Band router (with a password that exceeds the word "strong") - a Cisco Docsis 4.0 modem, Cox premium internet service, an excellent UPS backup/surge protection system, and HannsG HDMI 28" monitor. I've never experienced any problems whatsoever with my older CPU. After calling HP direct this time (from the stateside number on forms included with the return), I spoke with "......" I was impressed that he recognized I wasn't a novice and actually knew what I was talking about. We discussed several aspects of what could be the reasons for this CPU's failure. The Toshiba harddrive is pretty solid, so we didn't feel that was the issue. He had some concerns about heat buildup, until I pointed out my CPU stands in the clear...I didn't feel that was problematic, unless the CPU enclosure was responsible for that. That leaves the motherboard, but I don't have the insturments to measure that. So, They're sending me another box to return the CPU again, and have assured me they will complete a thorough run-through to try and resolve this problem. I wonder how many other users are experiencing this same problem? I'll keep you posted. Knightsix
2) My initial review (seen below after this) was very glowing. All OK for the +four months I've had this unit. Two days ago = total operating system failure! I mean 100% dead in the water...won't boot, no screen, no nada. I contactd Amz.com who referred me to HP. I called their Tech Support. The highest acolade I can give them is "Abysmal," and I'm being kind here. I explained quietly, without passion or angst, the total failure of the unit's OS. The woman working with me (East Indian? Pakastani? Whozits?) was understandable enough. "Nothing on the screen, please pull the video card and re-insert it (?????? !!!!!!)." Lady, did you not understand my statement? She then instructed me to open the CPU, remove and insert the video card. To see how far this 3-ring circus would go, I pulled it, polished it on the sleeve of my shirt, blew off (any) imaginary dust, and stuck it back in. Nada. (Well, there's one hell of a surprise, right, Forrest Gump?) "We will send you a new video card." I asked that woman, without rancor, if she knew what she was doing? Was she reading from a prepared script. I could plainly hear her talking to some other individual. I explained again, no OS, dead in the water, nothing is working or will work. She then asked me for my email address. I inquired (head in my hands) if she intended to send me an email. "Yes sir." I gave up. How do you expect me to read your email if my #@*$!+ operating system is dead and the computer won't work????? Without pause to even consider my question, she came right back with "We will send you a new video card." NO - you will NOT send me a new video card, you will repair my computer CPU...do you understand THAT? "Yes, we will send you a box and shipping directions." What's wrong with the perfectly good box and materials I have saved from initially receiving the unit? "Oh, no sir, ours is much better, and we will send it." Yes, they sent a box, alright. Cheesy, thin, no protection at all. The soft two-piece foamy did not fit the CPU, and I had to squeeze the thing into the lousy, crummy box they sent.
So, Amazon.com and HP - this is customer service (Tech Support) in your opinion?? This is arguably the worse #@*$!+ #@*$!+ event in my lifetime. Any money you are saving by hiring the world's idiots to pretend any competency is ludicrous. I'm almost 66 years old and can do better on my own. The loss to your image is astronomical...and I will NEVER purchase any computer from you again. Moreover, this stupid venue refuses to allow me to change my initial 5-star review to a MINUS 5-star rating. BOGUS 3-Stooges tech support defines the terms bungling, unskilled, and ineffectual. Caveat Emptor Knightsix
1) I purchased an HP Workstation thru Amazon.com / 3rd party vendor. Due to intentionally absent information in that AD, I was forced to purchase a new OS in order for that Workstation to function. Not good, and my review was upfront about that. After visiting Fry's Electronics to review what's available, to my surprise and delight I found this HP Pavilion H9-1130z Desktop CPU. SPECS are truly impressive, even for an old goat like me (+65yo). Its response times really do a great job of redefining "instant breakfast" in the electronic realm. No difference in the price though, that's the same everywhere, online or market. So, Amazon.com had a better deal with 12 month no-interest financing and I went that direction. While I already have blueray for my video room, the fact this CPU has an 'all-in-one' DVD featuring blueray was acceptable. Yes, it works very well, and blueray "Avatar" looks as good on my HD monitor as on the big screen TV. Sorry, I don't do video games, so can't, in all honesty, comment on the video accelleration for such (you're on your own with that one) but given the way everything else works, I have no doubt that smoke will leap out of anyone's game controller when plugged in and revved up fighting one's favorite first-shooter prog. Web downloads are fast, as are saves and info transfer to my backup harddrive and thumb drives. How much of that is this CPU and the I/O of the individual pieces is up for grabs, but perceptually, it certainly seems a heck of a lot faster to me. Boot up is impressively fast, programs open very quickly, saves are light-speed, and did I mention how pretty the red lights are? I was hoping to experience burnt rubber and tire smoke from the "gang of eight" (CPUs) while listening to "Little Deuce Coup," but I guess one can't have everything, then almost imagined I heard a Cylon shouting "At your command" when the red bar lit up on the front! And FINALLY - someone had an honest to goodness epiphany and put the USB ports on the FRONT of the thing and a "DOCKING STATION" on the top! Give that person a raise, HP...you're not paying him/her enough!
I'm a happy man. Knightsix
